It's Finally Here!!!
Hello Everyone!! It's finally here ...spakrista has finally found a location and will be opening it's doors on Tuesday, June 8th!!!!
Over the last year spakrista has gone through 3 different attempts to find a location in Kirkland, WA (...including one space that Starbucks decided they wanted ...guess we did our homew...ork ;-). And each attempt has helped bring us to the perfect location ...which is now "officially" at 609 Market Street in Kirkland!
We are also very excited to be located right next to Winslow Salon! Kirkland's hottest new salon ...check them out on FB too! Together, we are having a Grand Opening Party on Saturday, June 5th from 4-7pm ...Save the Date!!! Making Progress!
What an adventure this continues to be! We have drawn up the floor plans and are working on securing our location ...in Kirkland, WA!
It's amazing how things continue to fall in to place. That's not without the hard work, dedication and fantastic support we continue to receive.
We couldn't be more grateful for the way things have played out over the last year. It just goes to prove that when one door closes many others open. Pursue your dreams! It is worth the challenge!

Welcome to spakrista's first day of blogging!
Hello! I'm so excited and there is so much to tell ...where to begin...
Lets start with my amazing Mother. She is my inspiration. I miss her more than words could ever describe. She was a strong, intelligent and beautiful woman both inside and out. I only wish she were here to guide me with her experience and knowledge of successfully owning and running her own business. I will make you proud Mom. I love you.
Losing my Mother helped me realize how important it is to inform others of how we must take care of this skin we all live in. And just a few years ago while taking a leisurely Sunday drive with my husband, I suddenly blurted out, "I want to open a skin care spa". That realization of the importance of skin care was apparently ready to come to life and my husband graciously replied, "Fantastic. How do you want to get started?".
From that moment things fell in to place. Within months, the company I had worked for the past 6 years was sold. My job was gone and I quickly went back to school. Fast forward to today, I have graduated and secured a location for spakrista.
We are in the begining stages and there are more details and numbers than I could have possibly imagined. With the help of fantastic family and friends, spakrista will soon be open!
